Clinical Supervision

supervision.jpeg

I offer clinical supervision to both experienced counsellors and student counsellors, providing a supportive space to reflect on your practice, develop professionally, and feel grounded in your work.

How I work

I am committed to creating a safe, brave, confidential, and supportive environment where you feel comfortable being open and vulnerable. Our collaboration is built on mutual respect, honesty, and a willingness to explore both successes and challenges in your practice.

Supervision with me combines professional guidance with warmth and approachability.

Together, we will:

  • Reflect on your client work and professional development.

  • Explore challenges with empathy, understanding, and even a light-hearted touch.

  • Celebrate successes and identify areas for growth.

  • Integrate insights from somatic, trauma-informed, and person-centred approaches to enrich your practice.

Supervision with me often feels grounding, reflective, and energising. Many counsellors describe it as a space where they can pause, breathe, and gain clarity - not only about their clients, but also about themselves as practitioners. It’s a supportive space where you can leave feeling seen, heard, and more confident in your skills.

I also work with experienced practitioners who wish to expand their practice - for example, incorporating online counselling, Walk & Talk sessions, or more trauma-informed and somatically aware approaches. I can help you explore how to integrate these methods safely and effectively into your work.

What else can I offer

As a counsellor who works with both young people and adults, I can offer supervision that helps you explore the nuances of working across different client groups. My approach is informed by:

  • Person-centred counselling – supporting authenticity and presence in your work.

  • Trauma-informed and Somatic practice – understanding how experiences can live in the body and influence clients’ lives.

  • Creativity – incorporating these elements where relevant to support reflective, holistic practice.

I am also actively involved in teaching on the counselling certificates and diplomas. I stay up-to-date with professional developments so that you can feel confident and supported in your supervision.

Taking the next step

If you feel we might work well together, please get in touch. We can have an initial conversation to discuss your needs and explore how supervision with me could support your growth, confidence, and resilience as a counsellor.
